WHO WE ARE

Levy Music Publishing, LLC. was founded in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Over the years, Levy Music Publishing has solidified personal relationships with producers, directors, and music supervisors who are actively looking for fresh new music to place in their productions.

WHAT WE DO

Levy Music Publishing accepts submissions through 1-800-PLAY.com. Our devoted A&R team will ardently listen to EVERY song submitted for consideration. If your song is selected for the Levy Music Publishing library, we will present your song to an array of producers, directors, music supervisors, ad agencies, etc. for placement in their productions. We will handle all the contracts and paperwork for you, when our clients use your music.

THE DEAL

Subsequent to selecting your song for our library, we will send you our publishing agreement. The agreement is based only on the song(s) selected and will not affect any other material in your existing catalog or career.

• The breakdown is based on a standard 50/50 split of the publisher's share of royalties. Levy Music Publishing retains 50% of the publisher's share of royalties plus 50% of all upfront fees, in exchange for our publishing services.
• Artists and composers retain 100% of the writer's share of royalties. You must control 100% of the rights to your material including the rights to the recorded masters.
• You must be a member of a Performing Rights Organization. If you are not a member, we will assist you with the process.

Please note: We do not convey pass letters as we feel that our library's needs are constantly changing.

WHEN DO I HEAR BACK?

Please be patient! Levy Music Publishing values every submission & there are many. Once our music team has reviewed the music, we will call and/or e-mail you with our agreement for your prompt review. Once everyone signs the agreement, we can immediately plug your songs! We look forward to collaborating with you!

• Copyright your materials
• Own all rights to your composition(s) and master(s)
• Clear any samples used prior to submitting music
• Only submit songs of professional, recording quality
